severe allergic reactions.

so i was contemplating the fact that reeses peanut butter cups are loved by almost everyone except people allergic to nuts. and then i started thinking about the allergies ive known people around me to have that are sometimes very unusual like my fiance is allergic to artificial sugars and a little boy i know to be allergic to a very large variety of foods to the point im not sure how he gets every nutrient he needs to grow and a cousin of mine who is of course allergic to nuts. so i myself have never had any kind of severe allergic reaction to anything and the only minimal ones i have are bandaid adhesive which has actually faded over the years, goldenrod pollen which is pretty common as far as things like that go, and certain metals don't agree with my skin so i can only wear silver gold and surgical steel jewelry. so do you know anyone with and unusual severe or non severe allergies or do you yourself have any? im curious about how many people out there are allergic to certain things.
