Even as a child,I never had a Christmas wish as elaborate as others might have. It is always to spend Christmas eve and share Noche Buena and Media Noche (during New Year's eve)with the whole family, meaning, no one is absent. When I see that everybody is present during Noche Buena and Media Noche then I can say that I have a wonderful year, indeed. I feel very very sad when someone is missing. This year, I am changing my Christmas wish: I wish that all my loved ones will find happiness and love this year and the coming years.:-) I'm not really much into material things. :-)How about you?

Sad to say I don't have any. As I grew older I begun to be content in watching kids enjoy christmas I had a fair share of it.

I am hoping that things will turn out great for everyone and that those who are unemployed or have had their hours cut back drastically will be able to seek employment. I know in my household my husbands hours have been cut back drastically and I have not been able to find employment at all. I have a teaching degree, but cannot find a teaching job. I had also looked into holiday employment, but no one is hiring. My husband's work hours are not steady so we never know one day from the next what time he has to be there. I was called to subsititute teach yesterday, but had to turn it down because my husband had to be at work at 6AM and was not getting home until noon. We have one car and he needed it for work. We can only afford one car right now and it frustrates me because I have to always wait for him before I can anything.

This Christmas I just want to spend time with my family, since I am studying abroad and I don't see them so often. I don't see Christmas as an opportunity to get new things. If I want new thing I don't wait for Christmas. And Christmas is not about getting presents, it's about celebrating the birth of Jesus. And the best way to do this is with your family.
