I am 31 years old and still suffer from acne and acne scarring. I found out that proactiv is a great product but if you stop using it, your breakouts come back. I personally use dawn dishwashing liquid once a day, usually at night. Just a dab on a wash cloth with warm water will "take the grease away". Follow it with apple cider vinegar as your astringent and Voila! Clear skin. Trying a hypoallergenic facial lotion and make up will avoid the breakouts too. To Tighten pores( this can be used everyday too) make a mask out of everyday things. I take 1 egg white, 1tsp of lemon juice, and about 1/2 to 1/4 tsp of milk and mix it well. Paint your face with it and let it sit until it's completely dry. You will know what I am saying when you can't smile LOL!. Wash it off gently with warm water, it might be slightly sudsy. PAT and I mean PAT dry and finish your face off the way you normally would everyday. It's a frugal way of doing it, and its well worth it. If i would have known this years ago, I wouldn't have the problems that stemmed up to this from childhood. My skin feels better and looks better. Good Luck!
