Do you believe in the death penalty for punishment of murder?

I do not believe in the death penalty for many reasons. When a person murders, they are taking a life from this world, which is the most horrid and horrific act a person can do. For this reason, I believe that it is actually more kind to let them take the easy way out and kill them. I would prefer to sentence a murder to rot in jail for the rest of his life with no hope for any parole or escape. I would of course take away any rights to books, televisions, and media because they do not deserve these materials. Years upon years of nothing but facing a wall and thinking about what they did would be the worst punishment of all. In addition, I believe that the death penalty makes the executioner a murderer. No child grows up and wants to become an executioner, and execution is just a "legal" way of murdering a person for the sake of punishment.
