I think people are silently laughing at me when I dance. My wife say the I should dance like no one is watching. And I take it literary and dance the best I could. but when I come to realized that I'm not alone on the dance floor, I see people looking at me and ave that intriguing look in their eyes. At first I felt insecure about it, but lately I come to realized that one cannot please anybody. So I dance like no one is watching. Have you have that feeling too?

Well, for me, as long as you enjoy what you're doing go for it. Don't think of what others will say, everyone has his own style of dancing. It is a talent yes, but it can be developed with constant practice. When you're at home and you feel like dancing to a tune in a radio, go! its a very good exercise and an outlet for stress. I usually do that at home. I love dancing because i grew up in a family who are fun loving and dancing is one of our ways of having fun. My father used to teach us tango when we were kids but only my sister and me were able to learn the dance. In school since grade school till college i was a member of a dance group, my sisters and my brothers too. Until now there are times when we go to discos to unwind with my sisters and my daughter, niece and nephews. At home when there are occasions we just turn on the music and dance. So why be ashamed its fun to dance, it makes you feel good.

yup, you're absolutely right. Even though I'm not good at it really, I enjoy dancing even if people are secretly laughing at me.

I like to dance but I am not thorough with all the steps and so I cannot go along with the music.I cannot properly express myself with my dancing steps.People stare at me when I dance but I just ignore then and try to enjoy the moment fully. Also I have noticed that some people make fun of me in the dance floor. But nothing can stop me.I am at the learning stage and so it is not a big deal for me.Very soon I will be a perfect dancer to match with my partner in the dance floor.

Good for you. But for me, I have attended dance lessons to no avail. Right now, it doesn't really matter anymore if my moves do not blend with the music or some steps have gone wrong. As long as I'm happy with it and wife wife feels "proud" no matter the mistakes are.

Hi Fulltank! Yes, I have danced like no one was watching me. This happened to me in seventh grade. I was dancing to a song that was on. It was my favorite song.. And I got into the music so strong. I kept dancing so hard until, people were moving away to watch me dance. My uncle was there to pick me up and he kept calling my name... I would not stop dancing!!! The music sounded so good, I was gone!!!!!! When a song comes on, my mind will just go blank.. I know that people thought I was a trip that day!!!!!! I can remember that day very well.

when you have people saying that you are not an good dancer it pretty common that you feel as if every one is looking at your bad dancing or feel shy.but in order to achieve perfection you got to move them aside and go on practicing coz those who had laughed at you today would clap at your perfection in the future provided you work hard FullTank LOL.gud day.
