I'll bet that was a little freaky to watch. I watched a video of people killing a monkey then eating its brain. Very revolting, especially since they say that's where AIDS got its start.

i have meat i have to have it cooked through, i can put up with a small pink line but anything more and it gets cooked for longer. never tried sushi, and not a big fish fan either so i'm in no hurry there.

I eat raw meat... but just Sashimi (Japanese style of raw fist). I love them, especially the fresh salmon. There are sweet and tasty when you eat them with the Japanese sweet soya sauce and salty sauce together. Not forgetting the Wasabi as well. I only have it during Japanese meal but not really other meal which we usually at least have to boil the food until it is cooked. Well, it is actually because we do not know the correct way to handle the raw food without cooking. I think the Japanese are really smart in this. :D

I tend to eat beef either raw or nearly raw. I don't trust poultry enough to eat it raw, however. Venison has an extremely strange texture and taste if eaten raw. Very gamey. If you apice it right, however, you can cut most of the gameyness. Cooking destroys many of the nutrients in food, so raw is generall better, especially with fruit and veggies. If you must cook your veggies, steam or blanche them.
