Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up saying "WHAT A RIDE"? Do you agree with this or not?

Life should be an experience to show your value to the family and the society. To attain the goal, we need be far sighted to get well prepared from early childhood, learn to extend our love to people in all communities we are in, especially our beloved.

Life should NOT agree. "What a ride." This or not? Chocolate in one, champagne in the other. Grave of arriving in an attractive body. Rather. ----I put my answer by taking the words in the original post and arranging some of them, making my own post.

In short, not Biblical.. in that quote alone, doesn't make any sense to me unless it was quoted in the scripture. Life to me is just short. What the scripture tells us is that life is like a vapor, we are a flower that withers. All of us will die, no one is immortal. But what is important is if we did the will of God on that very tiny speck of time that was borrowed or entrusted to us by our creator. No matter how you spent your life in luxury or in poverty, no matter how attractive, famous you are or the exact opposite, but what matters most is that if you have entrusted your life to Christ. I may not impose you anything on my own opinion. I respect if what you believe is the exact opposite of what I have said and there is no reason for a heated debate of faith or belief. I just have a privilege to say what I have to share as I obey Mylot rules for my freedom of speech without offending anyone here.

One of my favorite quotes alon this line is one by Erma Bombeck and it goes like this.."When I stand before God at the end of my life I hope that I would have not a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me"

Actually, in life there are a lot of ups and downs, like riding in a roller coaster. There's no such thing as an "easy" ride. We have to encounter a lot of challenges that in turn makes us more humane and determined. All we have to do is, to make that ride worthwhile and challenging.

I agree with the last respondant. Life isn't meant to be easy. To enjoy life to its fullest, and not allow the ups and downs to deter you is great, but don't expect to skip the hurdles by a sideways shortcut. Life is about living through experiences, gathering memories, and taking what you can from the lessons that are presented to you. Some would rather avoid chocolate and champagne, feeling they might harm the body and shorten their life. Personally, I love chocolate...but I also know that moderation is the key to success. Try new things, start your days by smiling at yourself in the mirror, and take lots of pictures. When the end comes, the ultimate joy will be when you realize that you've done your best and had one heck of a time.
