How many of you have actually sold art work? Not necessarily in a gallery but just in general. I once had a batman picture I had done in pencil which some visitor to my house really liked and insisted on paying for it: $50!. I didn't even take a photo of it so I don't even know what it looked like exactly :P.

I sometimes make primitive (country) dolls, and I consider them to be artworks. I have sold two of them now to buyers on eBay. Although I really haven't made any profit on them, I am happy that someone wanted to buy my works of art. I put a lot of work into creating the dolls, so it's great to have someone who wants to buy them.

I have sold some of my paintings and my photomanimpulations. I have an online gallery, but it is my experience that it is quite hard to sell my art online. I have had more than 17000 visitors, but few people actually buy my art through my online gallery. One year ago I got the chance to make an exhibition at a café. The place was quite small, but I still managed to exhibit some of my paintings and some of my photomanipulations. My photomanipulations turned out to be more popular than my paintings, and I was a bit surpriced, but I was very happy to sell some of them.
