they don't believe in life after death have questionable faith. How come they say they believe in God and Jesus Christ and yet they don't believe in life after death as this is the core or the heart of the Christian teaching? The resurrection is the heart of Christianity, how come these "Christians'" only hope seem to be in the present world alone? Even Paul rebuked the Christians in Corinth for not believing in the resurrection and life after death. He said: But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised?" With what kind of body will they come?" How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. He further said, "If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. (I Corinthians 15:19, 35-36). What can you say regarding this, especially those Christians who are claming to be Christians and yet their hope is only in this life and they ask those questions about life after death? They despair when their loved ones die? Do they only have elementary faith?

I have met a few people like this and I call them Christians by connivance because they do things behind peoples backs that are against their religion but when people are watching they claim to be Christians.

Or perhaps "surface Christians". I just use this term not the term Jesus used.

This is just one of the many results of man depending on man's version of God's truth. This produces "A Blind Faith" that will not get you where you need to go. Very few people actually have any true facts concerning God and Jesus to base a true faith on. We must start out on blind faith but learn to depend on God to give us true facts that we can base a truth faith on. This is the only possible way we can ever build a good working personal relationship with God and Jesus. Man's version of God's truth and His version of His truth is two different things and that's a fact. Yet we keep going back to man for his teaching and in most cases paying him for his half truths. That never did make sense to me. Remember this. God could easily give me a message for you but the very most I could ever offer you is second hand information. The point is if God can give me information he can give it to you just as easy. God does not want us depending on man for his second hand information that is very easily adjusted. Art
