There should be edit option in mylot after posting

Yes, I do think there should be an edit option. Sometimes I just post something and find that I made a mistake. But there is no edit button so I can't fix it. . . When typing really fast, people tend to make many mistakes, and sometimes they just post it immediately so they don't have time to check it. I do know a reason why there is no edit button. . . People could change their discussions too easily. If someone would "edit" their work then they could change it so it's confusing for the people who already responded. People can sometimes abuse the edit option. . .

I have to admit that sometimes I believe that an Edit button would be great especially if you post something then realize that you left something out. Or if you forgot to add a question which is something that we are really suppose to do here at Mylot, of course I really don't know why they make us ask a question with every discussion, because when your having a real discussion usually not every discussion has a question to it in real life. But they should at the least allow one edit even if that is all they allowed.

My problem is usually that I think of something else to say after I post so it would be nice to be able to edit and add that extra thought. Some forums only let you edit for like an hour after posting; that would be okay too.

It certainly would be good if the was the option. But on the other hand, it is also good that there is not. Well for me especially because I always go back and read what I am going to post. Depending on how long it is, will depend on how many times I read my response. If I have to edit before I post, I will read through it again. For this response, I have typed it and read through it once because it is short.

That's asking too much. There is a 'preview' option which takes care of any corrections/additions/subtraction that you wish to make before posting.

That is also something that I have been wondering.Why dont mylot put an edit button for posts that has been posted.I also have posted stuff and then realized that I made a mistake and then you cant fix it.
