My name is Angelo Franchesco Ocampo. My parents, siblings and relatives (mother side) call me Gelong for I am the youngest in the family and the cousins too. When I was a child, my mom told me that when she whispers my nick name as she carry me, sing melodies helps me to sleep easily. Then as I grow up, Gelong became Long, they like cutting down the syllables. High School, College and Professional life came, people started calling me "Gelo" and it became my resident nick name ever since. I miss the old times, what about you? what's your nick name? and the story behind it? :) CHeers Gelo

Hi. My parents did not give me any nicknames. But in school, most of my classmates called me by my surname "Soledad" because we have other classmates with first names like mine. Later on, the "Soledad" was shortened to "Sol."

Ah I see. By the way, what's your first name then? Nicknames are really cute. Some of the people I know got their nicks on their features, style, looks, movements whether it is funny or not. When talking about this things, some people get flash backs, a short time travel on how significant a name can be. thanks sol GelO
