best movie characters of 2009?

I would say its really a tough fight between Gabourey Sidibe as Precious and Monique as Mary Lee Johnson, the abusive mother of Precious in the movie, 'Precious' based on a novel by Sapphire. Both Gabourey Sidibe and Monique collaborated really well in this movie with great chemistry and thus brought these two characters alive, which is what really contributed to the success of this film. Though 'Precious' is just an independent film with budget not as high as films like 'Avatar' or '2012', the impact that the storyline and plus the portrayal of the casts, be it main or supporting roles, really outdo those high budget films and big hits of 2009!

the best character for me is Jacob Black.he is absolutely hot and adorable.he looks more manly with all those muscles.I like him more than Edward.I wish to be in his arms.I wish I could be his "Bella".

I gotta go with Christoph Waltz as Officer Landa in Quentin Tarantinos Inglorious Basterds. Great film with great acting and story. I hope Christoph Waltz becomes a house hold name here in America, because he really deserves it. I also enjoyed Brad Pitts character of Aldo Raine. It really is hard to hate Brad Pitt, he truly is a gifted actor and really delivers in all his performances.

hi olisaur my favorite movie character of this year has got to be terminator salvation's sam worthington (i think thats his real name?) but anyway i just like that movie alot and i find the transformers movie this year to be awesome too...

Dug is definitely my favorite character of the year. I went and bought Up the day it came out on DVD because I liked the movie so much. There were definitely tons of great movies this year. I also thought Sandra Bullock did a great job in The Blind Side. That movie was so touching and inspirational.
