Hi. I must say I did not really enjoy my college life. Since my focus was just to graduate and pass the board examination, I lived a monotonous life of home-school-home. I had good grades but I did not really make many friends. Most of my free times were spent doing assignments and studying of lessons in the library. I had no regrets though. I was accepted in a big firm here in the country because of my good grades in college.

great college life dude, I guess you enjoyed a lot. I was in a girl's college and missed many thing which I would otherwise cherish. Still discipline, and ways to break them were always exciting. I was initially very shy due to my rural background, but gradually participation in different debates and college cultural activities gave me strength.

Yes, somehow I enjoyed my college life but I really wish I had more friends. I was also very shy because I grew up from the province. I was only able to overcome my shyness when I was already working.

It's like high school right? Having a block section and spending almost 3 or 4 years with the same old classmates. But in our school nursing students don't have block sections or permanent ones, we are shuffled almost every semester and we can't choose our own classmates, that really pisses me off. Imagine adjusting every semester. That's one thing that ruined my college life, but we got used to it.

sounds funny, I guess you have really enjoyed your college life dispite failure. In delhi University, I have seen many students failing their grades deliberately to stay in college for some more time. However the main reason behind their failure is lack of concentration in their studies, they are more involved in youth elections, college politics etc.

I must admit I didn't go to class much, neither would do my classmates. I remember the school cafeteria. The tea wasn't that great, so I would avoid it. Also, we were too many people for our classroom, so some of the students needed to bring chairs from another classes. I was quick enough to get a normal seat!

i'm a working student at my local college. its nice because all i have to pay are misc. fees but one of the office personnel doesn't like me so much. i feel like quitting the program and getting a part time job to supplement my studies instead. *sigh* i've had trouble making friends lately cuz most are 17 and i'm 23, and while they pine after boys i worry where i'm gonna get the money for my sister's next set of meds. our campus has a variety of cheap and good food, i'll give it that. but i really want to take up chemical engineering, i'm lucky someone is willing to rent out my business so thats one problem down. next i'll need a part time job. then my sister needs to get better so...baby steps...

Even I was working, while in college. My college teachers were very supportive and I always managed to get part time work in the college campus, like working on canteen cash counters, in library and workshops and exhibitions in the college activities. This was lot of fun as well as I could manage to finance my studies. I was exempted from college fees and books were free. This helped me study without any pressure.
