I'm not that emotional, my friend. I don't cry even the hardest part in my life. If there's a great trial that I have face. I'll make sure to not to cry to show someone else that I'm strong enough to face those trials. Since I don't cry when trials may come. I would also say that sad song will not make me cry...

hi aerous, it seems you've got a heart like a stone. but you know sometimes, we must show our emotions and just let it out and explode it out. if you cry, it doesn't mean you're a less of a man.

Maybe you're such a person who is full of sensibility. That's beautiful, doesn't it? When I was a young boy, I have the same feeling as you. I cried very time I heard the song of sadness. But when I've grew up, I changed my mind. Maybe it means maturity, doesn't it?

hello rowdyrace, if you're a fan of david cook(ai7 winner), listen to his song "permanent". I was really in tears when i first heard this song when he performed it in ai8 finale. he wrote this song for his brother adam cook who was suffering from brain cancer(he passed away last march 2009 by the way). when i heard it for the first time i searched it throught the internet and i keep on listening to this. there are songs that really make us cry. depends on the content of the lyrics and on how it was sung. sometimes we get carried away because we can relate to what is in the lyrics.

hi rowdy, Same here, there are great sad songs that made me cry. There is one from Brandy entitled "Long Distance" which she sang beautifully and her voice is very soulful. I cried a little, the first time I heard the song. I think it's just normal to feel sad when listening to some sad songs. It's okay to have teary eyes once in awhile.haha! Happy Lotting!

not really...let say that i become melancolic but not so bad to start crying. Depend of situation...if u listen a sad song after a broken relationship... so is normal to cry... this is my opinion. Let say are people more sensible than others. :)

There have been some times where I have felt rather emotion and close to tears while listening to a sad music or a song that reminds me of something sad and I'm pretty sure I have cried at least once when this has happened. The thing that gets me the most is getting teary when watching sad films like the ones that Will Smith has been starring in, like Seven Pounds and the Pursuit of happiness. I have told a close friend of mine about this and fortunately she is mature enough so that she didn't laugh at me for crying while watching these kinds of films and some sad music. When I do feel like crying when experiencing these songs/films I often try to stop myself from crying especially in front of others. I feel rather embarrassed when someone catches me crying afterwards so that is why I try to resist the tears that well up.

i do tend to cry a little bit the first time i hear a sad song but it's usually due to the lyrics. it's only the first time i listen to the song though. as for sad story's not really. unless it's like a real life story about a friend or something a friend has heard. i'm a very emotional person lol.

Yes, I have listen to a sad song and the tears just come to my eyes. I can sometimes be a very emotional person and if the singers of the songs shows their emotions than I can not help but cry. I do not see anything wrong showing your emotions if the song is sad by crying.

well i have to say you are quite an emotional person to cry over a sad song just like that, i mean when nothing has happened, well i have to admit i am emotional person but when i am sad i tend to listen to sad songs, but i do listen to some sad songs just like that but it doesn't effect me coz i always pay more attention to the music, i know this is a little strange but yes most of the times it is the music that drives me into listening the song and not the lyrics much.. i pay more attention to the lyrics when i am in the mood to and when i feel sad i do listen to sad songs... i just feel low and tend not to cry but sometimes i have too...

Hello rowdyrace this is checkmail and think ever if listening to an sad song doesn't means to start crying, neither feel like it.Yeah I listen to some sad songs but try to get the emotiions behind it, the actual theme of it.But yeah there are few songs which are too emotional, too personal, some of the patriotic songs, which am thinking would really raise all hairs on mine body and even some tears in mine eyes. Now also while typing this post some of mine hairs are up.Enjoy crying if you feel to after listening to songs.Well am in an good control over mine emotions, and just don't break it anymore.

I often get tears in my eyes whenever I watch a sad movie or listen to a sad music too, and I think it is very normal, although the intensity and frequency vary in every person. Some may be more emotional than others that they really can't help it under certain circumstances. As for me I would say I cry easily when I'm alone watching a movie or listening to music, but when there's people I don't. My emotions are high whenever I'm by myself. Haha. Take care! :)

i do cry on a song i listen to. i have this song i watch on youtube. i was crying on the song. it was song from a contestant on australia's got talent. and i love his rendition and was crying when i was listening to it and the audience cried too and they all cheered for the contestant after the show and the audience really reacted to the performance and they were clapping and shouting cause they loved it. and i actually listened to the song almost every day for a month now. though i don't cry now any more. i am not that emotional listening to the same video. but i still get inspired. and i even ordered a copy of his cd. he had his own cd. though not commercially sold only on his website it can be bought. anyways, i love listening to the song or cd. my best collection ever.

I love listening emotional and sentimental songs. I used to listen alot when i was young and i can just lost with the songs but i don't cry. But as i grown older, i have become more sensitive and i can cry with any very touching story and emtional songs. Before i don't use to cry but after i had break up with my boyfren i become more emotional and can cry more often on any issue related to emotion. Now any emotioanal scene can let my tear come out and its difficult to control. Now inorder to avoid this things i watch comedy movies and don't listen sad songs. I now have started of more fun loving person rather than bieng emotional. Its always good to have small fun where ever you are.

It depends on the song - and my mood... But yes, I've definitely cried from listening to music before now (as well as watching films, reading books, or just looking at the moon on a dark night - God, how emo am I? ). I think that just goes to show the power of art and creativity and emotions!

I only cry to sad songs when I am already sad. Usually songs that relate to my reason of sadness make me cry. For example, going through a recent breakup and hearing a bunch of sad love songs will make me cry. I won't cry by just hearing a sad song if I'm in a normal mood however.

I think it depends on how songs relates to your life on whatever instances. As for my experience, I haven't cried yet on a sad song. I cried on songs for God.
