Do you compare your old and new friends?

Most of the times I compare my friends just by myself. Especially the old and new ones. Although I know it's good comparing with them. But I just can't help it. Because there are some of my friends who are very thoughtful and giving while others always asked for help or something, and sometimes they felt bad when you can't help them. How about you, do you compare your friends?

It cannot be avoided comparing new from your old friends especially in terms of attitude and personality. i can consider her/him to be my best friend because we do have the same views in life and likes and dislikes. that is why i really missed my old friends because it's been a long time that we did not see each other. I hope i can reach her in the coming days.

Oh, yeah you're right we can't help not to compare our old and new friends as we always want someone whom we share common interest and who value friendship more than anything. Well, I'm sure one of this days you will able to reach with your best friend, since all the best will always come back. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I kept only few good frens and make lots of frens who are not the close one just hi hello kind fren. Before i go close to that person i took time what kind of person is he/she. Once i find the person is good then i carry forward. All my old frens are still with me and we keep the warm relation as it is. Sometime i too compare with some of the frens but very rare becuase every fren has got different quality. So i maintain in that way.

Hello Fiona, It's good to know more the persons before we get close with them and treat them as one of our close friends. But there are times that even though we know them through time but still its not enough, there's still something that we don't know about their character or attitude. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I feel that old friends are hard to keep because people do change in times.Sometimes ,it is not their problem but my problem as well.Because I keep changing and growing in life everyday. But there are some old friends you can keep them for many years but when you meet them again, they will just keep on talikng about the good old day.Sometimes it is a bit boring since we are all progressing in life and we will have new experience and new social network as well.Thats why I said old friends are hard to keep. But on the other hands, new friendship is not easy to develop as well, especially when you have experinece some negative or hurtful experience in the past friendship. You will be more alert and will aslo be more careful to build up a new friendship again.Well,I would say that friendship is important but it really takes a lot of energy and effort to build it up.It is give and take relationship and always require both parties to keep on their input all the times.Wherever the input is not balance and with the factor of life changing experience in both parties, friendship will face challenge.

I don't compare my old friends and new friends, since they are quite different person, they have their own characteristics. But i always learn different kinds of qualities from them. I think no matter he is selfish or helpful, they are our friends, we can share the joys and sorrows together, this is the most important thing. Have a nice day.

I have never thought about comparing my new and my old friends. I suppose everyone has something special that makes him or her to be my friend, so that's why I can't really compare. I like them all, not minding if they've been my friends for longer or shorter.

I do compare my old and new friends but only by myself. The group of friends that I have are really really different. I have to like adjust whenever I hang out with each group of friends. But I love them all, although they differ from each other I don't really care that much as long as I am happy being either of them.
