Ideally, that should be the case. In fact during Marcos' time we were enjoying such. The main problem why we do not have economical stability is the Mindanao situation. The most massive rice fields and crop fields turned war lands in Mindanao prevents us to provide enough for ourselves or better yet export our excess goods. We have greedy politicians that protects a culture of corruption in our society. Add the fact that in trying to save too much we sacrifice our product quality that makes us lose in the international marketplace. which also leads to us Filipinos preferring imported products over its local counterparts. The problem is the system. We will need a strong will and a willing heart to break it.

yeah this is my view of people who likes powerwho seek power. here is what i think they are doing: they keep the poor being poor so they can stay in power.they want the poor to depend on them so when election comes they are still poor thinking that the politicians are sincere to them. by that i mean they give the poor food but dont teach them how get their own, so the poor will be dependent on them. the poor stay poor so when the election day comes the poor will vote the candidate who gave them food/help.

Actually, we should have done this a long time ago. Unfortunately, we are not being motivated to venture into business. Since our school days, we were being taught to be a bright student so that we can find a better job and not to be a businessman. How I wish we are...
