Oh! no! Minova isn't "working"!

Yesterday I discovered that mininova.org isn't working as it was before!! Its so sad, because almost everything that i have in my computer i download from there! All kinds of things, discographies, softwares... Does anybody knows why it happened? Do you guys are use to download from there too? And what do you think of downloading games, musics, and softwares from the internet, without paying?

Well, they're actually implementing a new content recognition system that will detect and remove torrent files that link to copyright infringing files. I guess mininova got to make some changes or they will lose a lot of money. :)

more bad news, we that live "sucking life" from those sites are in a "bad shape" =/ but what can we say? its really law infringement", it always was! we should pay for what we use, or listen, etc... I really think that are people that don't have money to buy things like expensive softwares, or games from other country, and their only way is to download from the internet... Everyone should be able to play cool games, listen to good music... the only way is lowing the price of production, exportation, so this way everybody buy the product, so more people would buy original...

Yep Mininova is gone. Too much legal red tape for them too keep going. They are 100% legal now. Torrent Spy has closed down altogether. I think this is the ends for most torrent sites

thepiratebay is still up and running but I know the guys behind it were up in court a while back and nearly got prison sentences. I think it is just a matter of time before all the torrent sites close or become legal and within the law of copyright

I was sad too when I found out mininova shut shut down but it's ok. When you go to torrentz.com and try to search there the thing you want to download, several links will come out and I think some of those sites too are good. But mininova was the source of my downloads too. Too bad it's gone.

It's very bad. My games is downloaded in this place. But i don't is bad because have very other websites to download games, films ,books, etc
