Use of keywords

Taking mylot's editor seriously I do fill in the keywords after every post of mine. But I am unable to see if it is of any use. The set of keywords should find use in trying to retrieve a discussion you had joined in, either by posting a comment or beginning one. Once I tried to retrieve using the keywords I had posted by the Search Engine on top of Mylot only took me to the Internet on the subject and not to the discussion I was intending to retrieve. I wonder now waht is the earthly use filling in the keywords?
