Hi! A librarian friend of mine is retiring after 30 years. I want to give her a retirement present but not sure what to give. I have thought of obvious things like a gift card to Barnes & Nobles so she could buy books now that she has more time to read but would also like to give her something more special.
Any ideas???
Thanks.

After 30 years, maybe she has a ton of books..so maybe something to go with books. Bath supplies to read a book in the bubble bath, GC to Starbucks so she can take her books to read there with others, or a trip to a day spa....
GOod luck.

Hi Virgie,
If you can gather some of her pictures in group or solo---since she started in your school that will be great. You can make a collage with brief funny and cute description of every in the collage it will be a heart-warming gift. She will love it because it summarizes her stay in the school and the friends she has then and now.
