I woke up with swollen eyes this morning and the reason is I was watching Hachiko Monogatari last night. This is a 1987 movie about a dog called Hachiko and its loyalty to its master, even after his death. While watching the movie, I cried so much that I think I used up half a box of tissue. The story, the dog, the music and everything else made this film one of the best I've ever watched. The name Hachiko is well-known among Japanese and dog lovers, but for the benefit for those who don't know, you can check out this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachik%C5%8D 12 years after 1987 (2009), America decides to make a movie about Hachiko and it's called Hachiko: A Dog's Story starring Richard Gere. This movie has already been shown in Japan and I think it will be shown in America soon. It will only come to Singapore next January and I'm quite looking forward to watching the show. If you are a dog lover, please be sure to catch Hachiko Monogatari. If you have already watched, please share your views. Thanks.
