Ya know in defense of us strippers, we dont see it as degrading, we take pride in how we look and granted once lap dancing became legal in ONtario my outlook on the industry changed a great deal (I started in the 80s where the rule of 12" seperation, no touching etc were heavily enforced) but I had kids to feed, rent to pay, bills to pay and so on.....I knew dancers back in the day and some more recently, who put themselves through school by dancing....I think one of the big problems is ppl assume that we are just ppl who have nothing better to do one day and wake up deciding to become strippers..you cant look at it so shallow....if you ever sat down and talked to some of the girls (nice ones cuase there are some characters out there without a doubt) I think you'd be surprised...My starting stripping when I ws a kid got me off the street, put food in my tummy and a roof over my head...
