I know it's not a happy topic but I want to share my experience of not take care of my baby dog right which lead him to death. :( Baby was the first dog my wife and I ever had. We love him so much and he was very cute and nice. We slept together in bed every night. But really we don't know much about how to treat the dog nicely, especially when he just moved to a new place to live. We fed him what we ate if he liked. For some reason he didn't eat, started to vomite and diarhorea. I took him to the doctor at once and transfused for three days. But we still lost him at last. How regret and sorrow we were for his leaving, for our lack of pet feeding knowledge. I hope all other new pet lover can learn some basic raise knowledge before adopting a lovely pet. We all miss you so much my BABY~

Dog dry food, fruit, meat etc. Maybe because we didn't take him to have vaccine! We had no idea of this at that time.

That's so sad what happened to your pet, and I hope that the next time you decide to buy a pet, you'll research it more thoroughly, buy a book or at least ask the vet for information! We have a cat and we only feed it cat food, and water. They say that for cats and dogs, you should really only feed them cat or dog food and water. Some people also feed them milk as well which isn't good as it can upset animals stomachs and give them diarrhea. The only time I ever hurt my cat was twice when I accidentally kicked it. Well it came running towards me when I was carrying a few bags of groceries. I didn't see it and kicked it, though he was ok, just looked at me outraged.

We have had pets for several years now and we too have lost our pets but mostly when they have reached oldage. Till then however we have had so many situations that gave us tense moments. We normally move on as if we think of our pets that are no more we tend to neglect those who are in our lives. So please get another pet and go on the Net where you will find lot of information on how to take care of puppies.

My daughter brought home a kitten on her way back to school. That was sometime in April this year. How much I said NO to her, I just don't have the heart to get rid of it, since my daughter purposely brought the kitten home. At that time, the kitten was a few months old, I think. She was an active kitten (well, she still is) playing and jumping about most of the time. Anyway, there was this one time, when she suddenly jumped and scratched my leg. Like a sudden reflex, I unintentionally kicked her. She shrieked and looked at me innocently. I really, really felt guilty. Now, she is part of our family. I don't think I can bear to see her in pain. So, I know how you felt.
