I planned to start decorating mine today. Well, my hubby don't want me to put up a Christmas tree but then, I just like to see the glittering lights on it at night. Just a table Christmas tree not a big one. It is just nice to feel that Christmas is here again. How about you? did you start decorating?

Hello bebs we are not celebrating Christmas actually because there is no actual date of when Jesus Christ was born...i guess some people do it because that already a part of tradition especially to us Filipinos.... Mobhomeir

Well, maybe you're right my friend Bebs, but let me just express what I surely knew and learned but no religious barrier here... "Christ came here once not to all people but to those who only believe and do what His Father told the people to do, His well not to the well of the people..." Means, Christ came here on earth no save all people but those only believe in Him and to the Father Almighty...what's the use of His coming if all people would only be saved when time comes...? Sorry I was just sharing what I knew about the truth.... Regards...

It is! We got a real tree, its my first ever. Its kinda messy but it smells so nice in here. We had to make sure nobody was allergic and they aren't. Ours is 7 feet tall, I need to go water it.

Sadly I feel no urge to decorate my house for the Christmas. I don't know why? Since the strong typhoons devastated the country, I felt not in the mood to decorate the house. It was like I am guilty to make my house very beautiful when many of my countrymen are suffering in the evacuation center. I know it is not really bad to decorate my house anyway. But because of the pitiful condition of those whose houses are still underwater up to this time, I just can't get the push and the spark to move and decorate and light up the Christmas tree. Well my husband has been telling me I should start decorating but still I really do feel so lazy. Maybe this weekend I could do so. I really do hope I can manage to do that despite this lazy mood inside me and besides my hands are filled with responsibilities. I am still preparing the Christmas loot bags for our Church Sunday School children and preparing program for their Christmas party on December 12. This is beside my many responsibilities in the office and also of course my online activities which is my way of relaxing actually. I hope I could still have the time to decorate the Christmas tree otherwise, its my husband who would do that and I don't know how it will come out. He does not the talent to do that. Ha!ha!ha!

hahaha Oh!! my friend, I admire your being busy all the time at least if you are lazy in decorating, you are very active in your church and that is very important. you know what? you also have a point of not making your house beautiful while others are suffering from calamities and still staying in evacuation centers? I heard that typhoon Ondoy? oh!! you must be thankful, your house is not affected. Thanks God... others really are, even the media people? the actors and actresses? I am always updated with the news of what happened in the Philippines much more my hubby, is the the first to tell me.. hahah he always monitored almost everything around the globe specially Philippines. But Merry Christmas anyway...

Nope. But my community meeting next Monday will be having our little get together - we all bring a dish to my house. So I will put up my tree early this year. My daughter is coming down and she will help. I am beginning to get flustered already as third son is bringing a GF from th U.K. this year. By next Sunday. I have an artificial one and it is about 7' tall. Not buying new decorations as it is a recession Christmas
