Well, sometimes I joke that I'm addicted to this site or that site, but in reality, I don't think it's really an addiction. I think for the most part people go to sites for fun and entertainment and socialization. I like to be on facebook and stuff to talk to friends, play little games here and there and just have fun. I do these things daily, and spend quite a bit of time, but I would laugh at the idea that it's an addiction, it's something I enjoy, and if you enjoy something and it does not hurt you or another person, I really don't consider it an addiction, at least not in the usual definition of addiction. Of course everyone is different, maybe if a person was on these sites all the time like doing bad things, then it maybe could become a negative addiction. Like I said, I think most people use these sites for the same reasons I do, to de-stress, talk to family and friends, and even more new people with similar interests who they would have never met. We live in a time when you can interact with people all over the world, I think that is very positive.
