i just saw on MSN that the WWE wrestler Umaga passed away today from a heart attack.. Eddie Fatu, the professional wrestler known as "Umaga", has died at the age of the 36, according to a report on World Wrestling Entertainment's Web site. Fatu died of a heart attack at a Houston-area hospital, according to WrestlingObserver.com. His most notable moment in pro wrestling was his involvement in WWE's Wrestlemania XXIII in 2007. He lost a match that resulted in Donald Trump shaving WWE owner's Vince McMahon's head. Fatu's contract with WWE was terminated on June 11 after he refused to go to rehab after his second violation of the WWE's Wellness Program http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/10476172

I was completely shocked by the news when I was browsing the official website of WWE last night. Exactly on the first page, the headline let's say, the news was about the late Umaga. I didn't even notice that he had been released from WWE, as the website mentioned him as 'former WWE superstar'. Back to 2006, when Umaga firstly ever appeared on the ring, it was blast. Along with the time when he successfully captured intercontinental championship for twice. I couldn't believe that he ended up already. However, I didn't read furthermore about the cause of his passes.

You are very welcome there... Ow, I have heard nothing about the late Umaga's idea to head to TNA. Just like I wrote, I thought he was still in the WWE. I read the news only on the official website of WWE, not from anywhere else.

I was shocked too..I don't much follow wrestling much anymore but my husband does and he is the actual one who told me about Umaga. I haven't read much on it either I just hear things from my husband...I know he was headed to TNA and probably would of continued to be a good wrestler. Thanks for your response charlies

It sucks that his life ended so abruptly. Umaga was merely months away from making his WWE return as well. I always enjoyed his matches and actually had the pleasure of watching him wrestle live a few times. He will be missed greatly by many.

I know he was lost way too soon...If I am thinking right I think he was suppose to actually be going back in with Hulk Hogan in to TNA wrestling not actually WWE with Vince. He just returned back from Australia with Hulk a few days before his passing. He will be missed for sure. Thanks for your response timmons

yup! read the story in msn as well as in wwe. really sad news. i grieve for the family and friends that eddie fatu left. as umaga, i've always liked him eventhough he was a heel. umaga was very athletic for a big guy. really surprised about the bit about him being released by the wwe because of violating wwe's wellness program. i think he and bobby lashley were frontrunners for being the next wwe superstars but it didn't pan out right. prayers go out to umaga and the family and friends that he left behind. cheers!!!

I was surprised to hear it as well but you know to go through what these wrestlers do every night town after town I am sure a lot of them need something to ease the pain, I just wish there was something more healthier for them. I really liked Bobby lashley and was sad to see him go but I think he is wrestling again, it might even be with TNA too but I can't be sure. My thoughts go out ot his family as well and what a shame fo rhis wife to have to find him that way. Thanks for your response allen

I know that he is not in WWE any longer but I think they might still do a tribute..it will probably be on this mondays show and there might be one on TNA as well since that was who is was currently working for, Thanks for your response Jas

Oh man, that's too bad. My kids were just saying something about him the other day because they noted he hadn't been on WWE for a while. I told them that he was related to The Rock and they shook their heads and said, "But he's fat and The Rock is solid muscle." I told them that he was Samoan and that's how they roll. Thanks for the news.

my family doesn't watch it as much as we might of once have but we still liked watching Umaga, i guess they are thinking that it might now be caused from blood clots from flying the 14 hours from here to Australia...it is a shame. Thanks for your response antiquelady

Hi, friend that's really a shocking news to hear about him. He was a good wrestler at all the times and i like to watch matches of him very much. I think he doesn't fear to any wrestler in his history. He is fat but not more like bigshow. May his soul rest in heaven and umaga rocks forever. Thanks for sharing this news. Happy mylotting. Have a nice day.

He was a good wrestler and they played him in a character to where he was fearless and able to just come out and pin his opponent so quickly..he will be missed and my thoughts are with his family. Thanks you for your response cogno
