Why does my televsion want to make me sad?

David Tennant is leaving Doctor Who. Glee almost made me cry this week. Heroes did make me cry (although, strangely, it wasn't Peter, it was Gretchen that killed me) Charlie died. (Fringe, for those of you who don't keep up with that one) George died and I bawled like a baby for nearly two hours (the whole episode pretty much). After that I haven't been able to get back into Grey's Anatomy. It has been a sad few months in television land. Anyone else going through this or is it just me?

Nah, just you. I kid, but I'm sure others are feeling the same. I haven't watched anything that made me feel sad. I don't get into TV shows like I used to years ago. I think that these days I have too much on my mind. But also I just think that I have learned how to become objective when watching something. I don't really connect with most characters on TV anyway thus leaving me to feel nothing.

Probably not to that extent, but I am a bit heartbroken to know that Monk ended yesterday. Though I don't put that much stalk in television. I have my shows, but I'm not that attached to it that much.
