Are you scared of clowns?

Clowns, they can be very entertaining or they can be very scary. Obviously not all people are the same, you can have children and grown-ups who find clowns very entertaining although other people may find clowns scary. We're all different. I myself hate clowns, I'm not scared of them, but they simply disgust me, especially with that ugly big red nose.
But hey, we're all different. So are you scared of clowns?

I have ALWAYS been afraid of clowns and this was reinforced when I read "It" by Stephen King a few years ago. Nasty things happened whenever this clown appeared with his balloons, so I guess Stephen King doesn't like them either...and you can't get anyone more cool than him to endorse this fear.
I think it's the fake, badly thought out, red smile they paint on their faces that freaks me out...and why do they have to make themselves look half bald and half...er, not?! And don't get me started on those hideous, baggy trousers!
A clown once lunged at me at the circus (and I don't like those either) when I was about 6. Watching elephants go round in circles at this circus made me cry because I'd been brought up on the "Survival" nature programmes on telly so seeing them with plumes on their heads looking sad made me sad too! Thank God they've banned 'em from Blackpool Tower Circus...if only they could do that with the clowns!

Yeah, I agree that clownes these days are ugly and are probably getting more ugly by the minute! Like you, I love animals and I know that in the circus, for they things they are tought to do is very wrong because of the cruel way they teach them. If I were day, I probably would have cried to. It's a very nice thing for them to have banned the elephants there, thumbs up to that. Unfortunately, I think clows will remain because not all people find them scary or ugly, in fact, which I dont believe, some people find them entertaining.

When I was a little boy I was afraid of them. But eventually it disappeared and I laugh at them cause they are funny. And then I grew up more and I find them corny. And I grew up more and I find them hard to do. And then I asked myself can I do that things they do? Ahahaha

No, I am not scared of clowns. Nothing like that has ever scared me. My fears are mostly about losing people in my life or having loved ones be sick.
