did anyone see the new movie precious. i thought is was very good sad but very realistic in regards to some of the many issues young people face everyday. I liked the fact that the character was able to change her life around and overcome her many hurtful obstacles the movie also showed that no matter how bad your life may be, you always have the choice to make a change.

I've heard a lot about it, but Precious hasn't come to the theaters in my town yet. It sounds like an unbelieveably tragic story, and yet very much reflects what the poorer people of the country have to go through.

yes it is tragic and uplifting the movie lets people know that there are positive ways to overcome negative obstacles. and yes in this movie she is poor but the problems that she has to go through is all across the money board whether your poor, middle class, rich or extremely wealthy we all have to deal with tragic situations. but its how we are able to evolve it can either be self destructive or positive.
