all about Goong/Princess Hours

Hi there fellow myLotters. I am an avid fan of Goong/Princess hours. It's a Korean drama series. It was broadcasted on TV again here in the Philippines. And, while I was watching it awhile ago, a friend told me that the female main character of that series already died because of car accident. I just want to confirm if it's true or not? I hope somebody's also a fan of it. Is it true?
