How many hours do you sleep a night?

Hi ! 12 hours ? Oh, you are very lucky. With my job taking so many hours a day, by the time I get home it is quite late already, and again, I have to get up early the next morning to get to work on time. So, that means, I get to sleep only 4 or 5 hours a night. I then keep waiting for Friday to arrive. Aha ! Yup, that's the night I sleep 12 hours !

usually, i don't get more than four hours sleep a day, at best five... sometimes, it goes down to one hour only... usually, i remain busy with many things and end up sleeping really late... it's mostly common throughout with some breaks in between... not that i have any problem to get a sound sleep... my wife says, i am probably the happiest person on earth that i get asleep as soon as i hit my bed... yeah, it's true... i can control my sleep, i can sleep whenever i wish to, in any condition... i can sleep for as long i wish to, or totally skip it even when i'm too tired... the only thing i face difficulty in related with sleep is that i can't get up from sleep at my own... even if i had long and enough sleep... i need someone (usually my wife) to call me time and again before it's almost late for me to get up for catching up with something...

I usually sleep for only six to seven hours every day. I usually go to sleep by 10.30 P.M. and get up by 5.30 in the morning and go for a morning jog. You are lucky that you are able to sleep for 12 hours.

I usually try to sleep between 7 and 9 hours at night. Generally this is the amount of sleep during the night. Sometimes, I sleep a little more. Other times, I sleep a little less. But usually it's between 7 and 9 hours of sleep.

hi umer5222, Usually I sleep not less than 8 hours. I think it is fair for me having my body rested enough to recover the energy I lost for the day and help my body to attain good recovery too. since we have 24 hours in a day, having at least that 8 hours as my rest time alright. Our body needs also to rest otherwise it will bring fatigue and stress affecting our body immune system and metabolism..

i usually spend 5-6 hours of sleep at night since i got this little problem called insomnia. all i did during that time was to play computer and chat. now i already have a medicine or cure for this problem... i read books and amazingly within 15-30 minutes of reading i fall asleep instantly....lol

I usually sleep 8 hours or less, depending on when I have time. What I mean is in the weekend or late friday I would sleep over 10 hours plus whilst during buisness days I only sleep 8 hours or less, especially since I need to go to college very early and during the night I would have so many things to do that I wouldn't find enough time to go to bed early. I think 9 hours is just the right of time that someone needs to sleep for. We all know that sleeping to little or sleeping too much are both unhealthy, wish is why we should maintain our sleeping hours.

Hello umer5222! Hum its different every time..But my sleep is not bigger than 10 hours..Most of times i sleep 7 hours..I go to bed at 00:00 am and i get up at 7:00 am..Sometimes when i`m sick or i`m not feeling good i go to bed at 10:00 pm and wake up at 8:00 am - 10 hours sleep..But i cannot sleep more because i get headaches..I don`t know why..But normal sleep time for me is 9 hours,and i`m fully refreshed :) When i don`t want to sleep i drink 1 litre cola and i can stay 1 day without sleeping.. :P But sometimes i`m to lazy and i sleep all the day ( maybe 10 times happened) :) Happy day - joro1best
