Is Indian Cricket team can sustain their Ranking?

Recently, Indian cricket team is managed to become No.1 in Ranking! Inspite of playing cricket for so many years, they are now only manage to become No.1 in Ranking. Will they sustain this for quite a long time?
Everyone aware of the fact that Cricket is the mostly viewed sports in India!

I dont think they will sustain for long year because the amount of test they are playing in nowadays are very low.On the other hand other test playing teams plays test cricket more frequently than use..
