these days, people are talking about facebook ... even kids are asking me if i have a facebook account or not. teenagers in my place think that having it means modern, they start a silly group to worship someone who doesn't even deserves it... i think facebook is overrated. .. it's quite dangerous for the kids or adults if they don't use it wisely .. i mean, come on .. putting mobile phone number where everybody in the whole world can see it? that's so stupid!! what do you think about facebook? i think it makes people stupid..

Yes. I do agree with you. Yesterday I signed up in facebook, and I was required to provide my phone number and home address. I think that is not a good idea for me. So I leave that item blank as I really don't wanna provide my personal information on Internet. And I've found out if you wanna search for friends, I'll be required to provide my Email account and password. That's so crazy. How can I provide my email password to facebook? How can I make sure that facebook will not mess my email up?

We dont use facebook mostly for the reasons you have stated, not only that I would much rather have a face-to-face diuscussion with a friend as opposed to a little chat on the laptop. By that I mean friends that I have actually met in person and have been friends with for a while not my myLot friends who live way to far for me to meet and say hi to. I think facebook is a waste of time but not everyone sees it that way! It seems to be the highlight of everyones life, i meet new people and all I get is are you on facebook.... NOOO I AM NOT hahah.

yep.. face to face communication is way much better. even texting can cause a problem and facebook? it can cause more problems!! i've seen some people have a problem with the status that accidentally offends some people ... we should be more careful on the things we choose.. i think myLot is more educational ... people really exchanges ideas and so on. . . not just telling " hey i bought a new mobile " .. that's really ridiculous ...
