I just gave birth to a two months old son. But I suddenly I get the shock of my life. He was diagnosed with eczema. I am trying to get my hands on tips on how to naturally get rid of it. Instead I found out that the ingredients are hard to find in my country. Can my fellow mylotters give me a tip on getting rid of eczema. I don't want to result in using steroids. Please and thank you.

how serious is it ?? my third child has 'mild' eczema.. and his condition has improved throughout the years - meaning to say.. he outgrew the condition... (by the way- he's already 10 this year)... i guess becoz his was only a 'mild case'.. i didnt do much.. but i remember i had to use medicated soaps, and talcum powder bcoz of his sensitive skin - i used 'Sebamed'.. doctors said to keep his diet as 'low dairy' which is quite impossible bcoz his favourite food is milk+cheese... and eggs - which is also another to control due to eczema.. of course, we had to make sure his surroundings is clean possible - and his skin is dry and clean as much as possible most of the times.. and boyz being boyz - that was almost a 'Mission Impossible'... ooohh.. i also fed him with Fish Oil / Omega-3.. plus other 'extra' supplements.. spirulina, vitamin-C.. u know u could also try our local 'Gamat' products - the lotion, the soap,.. i know i did.. and i think it does help.. but all in all.. - please keep in mind to consult your doctors, first.. coz' ur baby might have other allergies (sea-products).. good luck..

Hello I know this has been 4 months ago but how is your son getting along with eczema? My daughter has it too and I came across a wonderful cream that worked for her. Unfortunately the cream is given by my sister who bought it at Makkah when she performed her pilgrimage in December 2009. Now I am quite desperate as to how to get more of that cream. I have tried many things and this cream is the only one that completely wiped out her eczema. Since the cream has run out, I am trying other things but I am quite adamant in getting more of that cream from Makkah. If you have any suggestions please tell me...
