There are lots and lots of vegetables which are very very tasty. I can often be swayed and refreshed from the inside out by a colourful salad. However despite the many health benefits of this lifestyle; I could never be a vegetarian. Everynight juicy steak, fried chicken and tender pork chops would find me in every dream.

Whoaaa! Are you sure you're doing the right diet on your self? Watch out Allie! Well maybe you're still too young to be worried about that. Well, I think, prevention is better than cure...Thanks for that my friend...take care

I eat them every day with my evening meal but I love meat I could not live without meat. I don't have to have meat every day but I have to have it at least 4 times a week.

I am an omnivore and I love meat and vegetables mixed up together. I really love salads with lots of romaine and spinach, tomatoes and broccoli. I love green beans and peas. I also love corn but have to avoid it. I will eat vegetables every day. I also love green and red peppers but usually these are mixed up in casseroles or in a tomato sauce that I mix with macaroni.

I'm not a vegetarian, must have my protein, sugar issues. And yes, I know beans are full of protein but one can only handle so many beans with digestion problems, to be polite. I do love my veges though. I keep a vege tray on hand, fruit too. I eat them daily, often times for snacks. My favorite is pea pods. But I love broccoli, carrots, celery, cauliflower and more. I don't do brussel sprouts. They disagree with me. I also drink V8 juices so I get more fruits and veges.

I try and eat vegetables as often as I can. There are very few kinds that I don't like. Eating a lot of veggies is supposed to help you maintain or lose weight, and I am always on a diet so I eat a lot of veggies and fruit. I only eat fruit in the summer because it is cheaper then and also I want something hot in the winter.

Good post. I love vegetables and eat at least three servings a day. I am not a vegetarian. I just enjoy the different textures and colors and nutrition a variety of vegetables have to offer. My favorite recipe is one I made up called "Many Vegetable Soup" the title says it all, and its delicious to add all your favorite veges and some herbal bouquet broth. Then a slice of 100% homemade whole grain bread and that is a meal to remember.
