How do you afford childcare without family support???

I am a recent mother and have the joys of twins. Problem is I live miles away from all relatives, so I cant just pop them to thier Grannys. How are you supposed to get on with all daily tasks without the drop in Granny's but not destroy your bank balance :)

I am currently a stay a home mom. We can't afford child care even for me to get a job. Especially since I have 4 children. Three of mine are in school and 1 is at home. But I usually have to wait until my husband is home to run errands. When I was working, we were lucky enough to work different shifts and pass the kids back and forth. My suggestion is to find a good neighbor that you can trust.

Thankyou. My husband is in the services so sadly he goes away for months at a time, and so far good neighbor's have been hard to come by, but I shall keep looking for them. I have twins, 7 months. Has been a bit of a shock to the system but one I wouldn't change :)
