In memory of Anne Frank

Anne Frank, was a young girl, full of life wonder, and excitement. I first read her diary in the 7th grade. I can remember using my arm sleeve to wipe the tears from my eyes. In the 7th grade it is never cool to cry no matter what the reason. I found my self drawn to this young girl, who was smart, observant, and had a vision in her life. Unfortunately, her vision was caught short by the cruelty, and the hateful times she was living in. There where wars going on. Not only in Europe. The wars in the hearts of those who lived in the tiny space they occupied for so long and called home. People being polite, then getting mad, acting one way, then feeling another way. Hunger and despair can do this to you. Anne was able to capture this in her writings. She took each day and found a moment of truth in it. She was a young realist. I have been very touched by her short but eventful life. I hope others can contribute their thoughts about this wonderful diary
