Is nano technology useful in space & its exploration?

Nano's advent is a big change in the modern industries. But it its use limited to terrestrial modes.
Can it be used in space for our benefits or anything else?

Nanotechnology is a next big thing in the system development though not limited to it.Now we have systems at microtechnology and may be in the next 10-15 years(believe me its going to take this time for the technology to get to product development.)Iam sure we are going to have nanotechnology into our next generation system space,defence and civilian applications.
