Hello friend. I'm glad to share our knowledge on network administration. Anyway I read your answer about the difference between windows and linux. And I need to say that probably you don't know very well linux. Is really hard read a network admin saying that "windows is more better than linux". Why, because it don't have antivirus? Well this is not totally true, Clam AV, AVG, F-Prot, are some of the antivirus you can find for Linux. Usually you don't need an antivirus, anyway, if you run linux;). And thanks to linux you can setup in few time a great firewall that can protect all the company lan from attacks. You can check IPCop, a distro totally firewall oriented. You can install it on an old 386 with 2 lan card, and perfectly protect your company lan. If you want something quite totally safe (for how much safe worth in the IT world) you can use a BSD based OS for your firewall, proxy, mail and file servers, you know OPEN BSD slogan is "Only two remote holes in the default install, in a heck of a long time!"I guess Windows slogan should be "Only two days before someone find another remote hole in the default install";)
