You can never know for sure what is causing problems and there is a chance for something to go wrong every time you update any program. How much ram do you have? I suggest you take a look at your addons in firefox or explorer. If you find Microsoft framework assistant disable it. Helped me a lot...it was installed with an update and is even blacklisted at firefox for causing problems. FB is often slow anyway...you might want to cleen it a little...block aplications you don't use. Hope it helps. Also i suggest you download ccleaner...great small free program that cleans registry as well as cookies and other stuff. And defragment your disc. Add me as friend and send me a message if you want more help. Good luck and remember...it never ends so try not to worry

thanks slovenc1. i have a 1giga ram and 160giga harddisk. i searched for the microsoft framework assistant and i don't have it in my addons from both browsers. or is there another location where i can find this? yup. i will have to learn where applications are located. i have defragmented my disc i think once. yeah. i think i need to do it again. what is the recommended frequency of defragmenting anyway? i think i need your additional advice. thanks so much.

No there isn't another location. I think your ram isn't a problem. I would recommend defragmenting and cleaning your disk once every month. Depends on what you are doing. If you install new programs and move a lot of files arround you should do it more often. I also suggest you do use the program I suggested in case you haven't already. If you have any particular questions or problems you can always send me a message now that we're friends. Good luck with your pc!

Hellochiumee this is checkmail and yeah you right you must upgrade your Ram as well as increase your storage space(Hardrive).Yeah me too often have the pro of loading while playing games online, think that the internet speed is low at mine area, or heavy traffic online.our online games do depend upon our internet speed as its loading process keeps our game running. Its always good to clear cache and temporary files, it speeds up the pc.But also try to upgrade your internet speed, might it speed up your loading on net, and also ease out playing games online.Enjoy Mylotting.

If that thing is happening to you, maybe you have done something that causes of slowing down of your pc except playing games on facebook. I don't think that facebook games slow your computer down. It means the game requires enough memory to run in good mode. IF you're using windows vista, I have no doubt that you must upgrade your RAM.

if you have a lot of games installed in your computer , thats one reason why your pc became slow. or maybe you need to upgrade your RAM. or maybe your pc has been infected already by virus. does your pc with anti virus in it? sometimes if we are using online games frequently or three sites at the same time, example, online games, then facebook games.. is it susceptible to virus attack.. we can acquire virus in the internet. that is the teaching of our computer technician.

yah upgrade your ram and replace them with a new ram. Sometimes for some reason, some computers take up space on the ram like my old Compaq computer.

the cause is your internet bandwidth less than usually, your anti-virus was downloading some files from internet, or your browser too much using memory.

Hi Chiumee, If the game is the same as the ones you have been playing in the past then this shouldn't happen. But it sounds like the games that you're playing could be taking up more memory. You may have to increase your RAM. Playing online games can take longer to load and often you need a speedier modem to accomodate for the graphics. Your graphics card could need changing too if the games you are running have a higher spec.

Keeping your PC clean and disabeling any start up programs you don't need help improve speed. However games take two things to run properly. Bandwith and computer memory. a combination of both things could be slowing down your pc. Sometimes games take ore bandwith which is internet speed and if your ISP doesn't support it that could be your problem right there. Use windows disc clean up every so often. Once or twice a week, in addition to cleaning out cookies either manually or through internet explorer. This will help your computers over all performance. Talk to your ISP about things you can do to give yourself a bit more bandwith to work with. And, cut down on the amount of time a day you spend gaming. The more time you run the prossess, the longer it takes and the more tole it takes on your system. Good luck.

try to defrag your hard drive, clear your system clutters or best some good system maintenance software to keep your system as optimized mode.

just clean your pc and the less items in your hard drive the faster your computer will be. If your also thinking about your pc slowing while playing it may be due to the game using a lot of ram space.
