Calculator is my favorite gadget. Do you bring calculator anywhere?

I was in this passenger vehicle with other passengers with me. looking through the window i noticed one woman on another passenger vehicle taking out a calculator out of her bag. i wonder what she needs a calculator and what is trying to computer. Anyways, i find calculator very important to me. As i always look for it in my place, so i decided i just have to keep it beside me on the table so i don't need to keep looking for it. And i often hit the keys to computer how much money i will get on that time and how i will gain and earn and how much i will need to spend and how much money is left after all those purchases and expenses. So you feel that calculator a very indispensable gadget to you know. Cellphone have calculator but a real calculator is better as it is easy to type in the numbers on real calculator than the calculator feature in our cellphones. Do you find the need to use a calculator.

calcualtors are always there in my bag as we have to do mostly calculations,especially big calculations and for that the simplest gadget is the calculator which have made the life easier for us otherwise we should have been calculating the whole day without much work done.

Hi, hotsummer. I always have a small handy calculator inside my bag. I do not find the same ease that calculators offer me when using the cellphone's calculator feature. It is easy to do computing on a calculator than on the small keypads of the cellphone. I admit that I only use the calculator on weekends when we go grocery shopping, but it always stays inside my bag. Other than grocery shopping, I don't really find the need for it when I am in the office. I have a bigger calculator there.

Nope i dont use calculator anymore to calculate earnings and other stuff coz i am really good at maths and the last time when i used it was two years back for my statistics paper where i had to use it to find cubes of huge numbers and then divide them with decimals.else i would really carry a calculator with me and my earnings are not too complicated

I have a big casio calculator which is always beside me at work or at home. It is easy to type in figures and see the result. It gives a unique satisfaction to calculate on a big standalone calculator compared to a mobile phone calculator. Mobile phone calculators are quite tacky and do not have so many features. But if you do not carry a bag everwhere you go, then the mobile phone calculator is quite handy.

I do same as that woman.I always bring the calculator with me. In the super market,i calculate for the discount. On the date of receiving salary,calculate whether my comany pay less to me:) .And it's everytime for me for calculating
my investment returning rate,my saving....... Sometimes I every hate it as it
make me too care about the money.

I think veryone carring a mobile in his/her pocket is carrying a calculator. Every mobile nowadays is having an inbulit calculator and it is very eas to operate it as well. I agree, calculator is indeed a very important device and can be very handy at times. Even if you go out shopping for vegetables, it can be required to calculate the amount spent especially if the amount goes in decimal. But it is not feasible to carry a separate device for a calculater everywhere you go. Its easy for girls because they carry a purse. But for guys its not feasible to carry a calculator in their pockets everywhere they go.

I don't bring the calculator because I don't have to count so much. If I really have to count, then I will take advantage of my cellphone as it has the calculator feature. It works as well as the real calculator.

a scientific calculator is used to be my best friend during my college days. but now, i don't use it as often as way back then but it is still important for me and use for computing expenses and others.

Hi hotsummer.
I have many times wished that I had a calculator with me. It would have been a lot easier than adding up in head. You know like going to the store and they having those 30 percent off sales. I am one of those that stand there and stare for a moment..LOL
I just might get a small one and start carrying it with me.

I have a cell phone which has a calculator, I have that so I don't carry around a full size one. I wouldn't need the full size one, the cell phone version is good for me. It's not really much more difficult either, you get used to it.
I think it is a really useful thing to have with me, I use it everyday. I can't imagine not having a calculator with me, I really do use it a lot.

indeed, calculator is very functional gadget, i don't bring calculator cause my mobile phone has already calculator in it, it is handy cause everytime i encounter large figure i use it to get a nice result..

Yes, I also bring calculator everywhere but it is not my favorite gadget. My favorite gadget is my cellphone, and my cellphone features a calculator. It's inside my cellphone, so wherever I go, I bring with me my cellphone, and also the calculator inside it. In today's life, especially if you're a businessman, calculator is not just a gadget. It's a necessity. It's a tool.

I always have a calculator with me. Either at my desk or in my pocketbook when I go shopping. Like you, I don't like using the calculator on the cell phone because its so small but I use it when needed if I don't have my big calculator with me. My family jokes about the size of the calculator that I carry around with. Its 6 1/2 inches by 4 inches do you think that is too big?

No, not really. To be honest I don't. If I need to do math I use my cell phone. Pure and simple. It's easy enough for me and more often then not I can see it a lot better then an actual cocoulator. In fact I don't often need it. Maybe once a month to pay bills, but I know preaty much where I stand at the end of the month. broke.... very broke... so yeah..... I don't need it, don't really use it. I can stay on top of stuff without it so yeah.
