North Carolina's Outer Banks

I haven't been to the Outer Banks yet. It sounds like a really picturesque region. I would really like to visit that area. I think that Hatteras Island and Ocracoke Island sound like the best places to visit. I adore going to different islands and exploring such destinations can be ever so exciting.

I've never been there... yet! However, my other half has bought a wee house near Belhaven, which I understand is not too far away from Ocracoke Island. She's already been over to have a look, and sent back fabulous photographs. I can't wait to go and see for myself! What's your favourite part?
