Need Help With Laser Mouse

I have a problem with my USB laser mouse.It happens where the light of the mouse is on but it is not responding.The pointer does not move when I move the mouse.I have to replug the mouse into the USB port to get it work again.Is there any way I can do to solve this problem fully besides buying a new one?Do you think this problem comes from the mouse or the USB device?

maybe you should try to reinstall your driver

I have found out that the problem is my laser mouse.Yesterday the mouse it completely malfunction and it could not be used anymore.I think I have no choice but to buy a new one.

In USB have four cable: first is ground, second is 5 volt electric, third is data, forth is clock. If one of your cable not connected then your mouse cannot move. LED only indicate read the optic.
