can you give me an example of what makes you open minded ?

i think being open minded means to be free of prejudices.a open minded person understands that there can be multiple views to a topic/thing.hence is not rigid about a particular option.he/she is more acceptable of variety of people,cultures etc.

Being open-minded means acting like a child to some degree,we don't care about what others would say if we act in a way that might contradicts the social convention. We do what we are interested,then we move as we like ,and we have a curious heart alwayse reserved.then i think we are getting closer and closer to open-minded. awaiting for sb to make up !^_^
