I went to church a few Sundays ago and the scripture about blessed are the persecuted came up. I listened and took it in, somehow knowing it might turn out to be important. Besides I feel very safe and lucky being blessed for anything. The very next day a good friend of mine betrayed me, seemingly with no emotion. It hurt very badly and there was little to console me. Then I remembered it. Blessed are ther persecuted.
