Do you make money with traffic exchanges?

I use a few traffic exchanges that pay such as Smiley Traffic and Easy Hits 4 U, for example, and they only pay a small amount. I do see programs advertising that you can make a few hundred dollars a month by upgrading and recruiting people, but I think that might involve too much time and effort for me.
Have you had any success with this? If so, would you mind sharing a few tips and tricks, and if you would be so kind, let us know for which ones you've been most successful? Please explain as much as possible, thanks!

yes! I use tweeter, digg, bloggers. Check them out. Those will help you out a lot!

100% correct dear it takes lot of time and very less amount of money in return, people do make lots of refers and post their links on different websites so that they can get more refers who in return can give few free cents.It is not that easy to earn money online and one important thing which we don't keep in mind is virus and hackers. i have come across lots of links which have got virus attached to it moment you open they start their activities. anyways we don't care about it as we see our dollars increasing and increasing more.

Well I cashed out with $18 from my traffic exchange a couple of months ago..
and I have over $3 in my account again.. so it's not to bad, I use Hitsboosterpro
(banner on my page) She (Louise Venison) puts money pages in the pages when you surf (maybe once a week) and you can also earn bonus banner and text credits as well as surf credits. I think she is quite generous. I signed up as a premium member fo only $20 for the year. (as opposed to another site I was using that wanted $20 a month!) I got a few referrals and one of them Got hundreds under him. AND so although I don't see any mention of how much you actually earn from referrals anywhere in the account.. I have actually earned a few dollars from the referrals and I got a few more from the money pages.. (I got a $5 page and a a few more and made like $9 in one day and cashed out..lol)

I checked out the banner on your blog but it didn't say you get paid anywhere.But I think I'll give the site a try anyway.Who knows I might get lucky and find a money page that will equal lots of extra cash.

yea I know -I didn't know I got paid either, I just joined it because I wanted more traffic to my sites.. and it was cheap to upgrade and I liked all the bonus pages that she throws in .. I was amazed when I got a few referrals and months later I noticed that I had cash in my account and I looked and looked but couldn't figure out how I earned it.. (so I assume from the referrals, because at the time I wasn't on it much (surfing) to know she had money pages either...
She had a crash of her site last month and since implemented an email site on a separate server, If you sign up be sure to sign up for the emails (separately -on the home page) because she will notify you on the day that she puts cash pages in and when the hit booster is on(you earn extra credits surfing).

Not Any Success Yet!!
Mylot and Neobux among these traffic exchanges sites which I do daily to make money.
So far there are many good and Positive Responses for both of these sites for Paying their users.
Otherwise I've Lose my Confidence and gave up for earning money through Traffic exchanges on Internet.
