I've been planning to change my Operating System from XP to Windows 7. I personally feel that XP was faster that the new Vista. Tried to use Vista for months, but it hangs a lot. Now since many critics have been nagging on how fast Windows 7 is. I would like to know some of your opinions in this matter.

windows 7 is faster?yes!!I have been using it for 6 months,it's more stable than vista. But be sure your computer is good enough to run this OS.You should have 2G RAM and 1.8G cpu

Yes true! I can't believe it's running on our netbook perfectly. But it's faster and not that improving right? I thought it would be like, really fast or something like that. But no, It's just faster

I have a 1g ram and it works just right! What I don't like is, Microsoft being so excited on telling us before Windows 7 launch, that, it will change the world of computing. But tell me, does it change anything? It's just faster and more good looking. But it just ends there.

microsoft need a new way to have people concentrate on them.windows may not be perfect ,but it is popular and easier to use than mac os and linux.Mostly, windows is our only choice.Windows XP is classic but it will be replaced,no matter by windows 7 or windows 8.
