Punished by Government for Your Beliefs?

Have you ever been punished by the government for your beliefs, for example, beaten because of your religion or had your property taken away because of your political party?

I have not personally had this happened to me. I have heard of it happening in the U.S. even 50 to 70 yrs ago. I'm glad that there is due process and the law in America to help those who are taken advantage of.

No but have taken the right to voice religion open in schools and other public places..and to me is the same
