Okay, here it is. A family member asked me to make three four strand seed bead necklace one with a pendant in the middle, and one with a large bead in the middle. She showed me the design, and I agreed to make the three necklaces. I have had one problem after another with this project. First I had problems purchasing the appropriate beads, not the right size, not the right shade. Finally, the bead problem was resolved. Then, the bead crimp was too small, and I had to purchase new ones. Okay, I bead half way try to put the four strand into the large bead in the middle, and the hole is too small. I had another bead wire, which was thinner so I tried that fine got it through the hole, but the wire was so weak it start bending so here I am having to redo it again. I am going to stick to one or two strand necklace in the future.

I know what you mean about multi strand necklaces - the crimp bead has been my major problem, but I haven't tried with a bead in the middle to combine the necklace. Hum, wonder if you could stick a heavier wire thru the bead and then do crimps on each side of the large bead so the is actually only one wire going thru the large bead. I've done some 3 strand, that's as big as the crimp beads I have will handle.

Good idea about crimping the beads by the side, I am not very good with the crimping, but I am willing to try it.

I laid out for the special crimping tool - great time saver on the crimping bit - when it works right!
