I don't think so. Name is just a name.

but of course! anything but your name do affects anyones personality because you carry the impact in your name. you also have to take care of your name because it reflects your family heritage. once you get it dirty, it could mean a destruction in your name as well as your family. whatever you do, you have to think so many times before you act because it would hurt not only you but the name you are carrying.

Hi friend... More importantly I don't think a name is chosen by humans but rather is predetermined by what some people would call God or the universal consciousness. A name has great bearing on a person's character or perhaps the other way around.....

In my opinion, birth names has somehow affect one's impression but not one's total personality. It is the person who can make his personality move and be known for his traits and characteristics. There are some birth names that are given by no choice for them and some have not that good names but when they make life more challenging and able to succeed then they get known by other people in different races and countries. Some birth names may give a good impression on reputation and some have bad but we should give them the benefit of a doubt to show themselves what they got and be given the chance to accept things in reality that a person is not judged by his names but his true color or personality.

I think name is just a name be called by others. Birth name is named by the parents or family, I think it won't effect one's personality.
