Living in a Log Home

Who lives in a log home? Did you build it or not? Did you design it? can you give me some Pros and Cons? What state are in? We bought 2 acres in Tx and thinking of a log home. What type of logs? Please give opinions.

I don't have a log home, but I was serching for models on line. I was thinking to buy land long time ago. They have so many models and and price included complete asembly.

O yes, Aren't they beautiful.
I found so many that I liked. We have decided to draw our own plans. Actually working on the garage slab now. I have changed my mind a couple times about the kitchen layout. But I am goin to have the open concept. Keep looking and I know you will find what your looking for. Ther's a company,Conventry log homes, I think. They had great prices and included shipping. That is a hugh cost. I checked out the site you linked to. Thanks
